Are you ready to take the next step in your construction career? Icon is offering an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Project Manager to join our team on a $150M project based on the Gold Coast. This is your chance to step into a senior role with a Tier 2 builder, gain exposure to large-scale, complex construction, and work alongside Senior management.   • Proven experience coordinating large-scale construction projects within Tier 1/2 or complex environments, exercising strong judgement, discretion, and process compliance.
  • Proficient in project tools including MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and Asta Power Project, with a strong focus on accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams, engage stakeholders, and drive project outcomes.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management, attention to detail, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Passionate about sustainable construction practices, with exposure to Green Star, NatHERS, or WELL building standards.
Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications, ideally in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, providing a strong technical foundation for project planning, coordination, and delivery.
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record supporting or managing the delivery of large-scale, complex projects from start to finish.
  • Significant exposure to major residential projects valued at over $70 million, with a deep understanding of the construction lifecycle, stakeholder engagement, cost control, and quality assurance on high-density builds.
  • Currently operating in a Senior Project Coordinator/Engineer role and seeking to take the next step into Project Management.
