The Role

You will take end-to-end responsibility for project delivery, leading the project team from pre-construction and procurement through to construction, practical completion and handover.

You will work closely with senior leadership while managing clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of major Class 2 high-rise residential apartment projects.
• Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
• Take ownership of project, budget, cost control and financial performance.
• Lead procurement and manage major subcontractor packages.
• Administer contracts, variations, EOTs, claims and commercial matters.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage design development, RFIs, technical issues and design changes.
• Monitor project delivery, quality, safety and project milestones.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks.
• Lead project meetings and provide clear reporting to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with NCC, Australian Standards and Victorian construction requirements.
• Drive strong WHS and quality outcomes.
• Lead a group of Project Engineers, Contract Administrators, Site Managers and the wider project team.
• Manage commissioning, defects, practical completion and final handover.
