Job summary

A well-established commercial builder is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Melbourne team. You will take full ownership of projects from early procurement through to completion, working with a high-performing construction team and trusted subcontractors on multi-residential projects valued at $30m+ in inner north Melbourne.

You will lead end-to-end project delivery, procurement, contract administration and commercial management, and manage client and stakeholder relationships

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager for a head contractor / builder.
• Strong commercial acumen (budgets, variations, procurement, EOTs).
• Confident communicator who can manage clients and internal stakeholders.
• Trade or construction qualification preferred.
• Melbourne market experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end project delivery including program, cost, quality, safety, and subcontractor performance.
• Procurement, contract administration and commercial management.
• Managing construction teams and driving programme outcomes.
• Client/stakeholder management and reporting.
• Identifying and resolving delivery risks before they impact programme/cost.
