Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a results-driven Project Delivery Manager to guide medium to large scale telecom projects from initiation to delivery for Vocus Wireless and private LTE customers.

You will coordinate with sales, presales, wireless engineers and contractors, ensuring strong customer service, clear communication, thorough documentation, and adherence to PMO processes and quality standards across the program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Telecommunications industry.
• Experience working with sales, presales, engineers.
• Professionally recognized qualification in Project Management is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with wireless and LTE networks deployment and project management.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service orientation.
• Well-developed problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the successful delivery of medium to large scale projects to Vocus customers.
• Ensure a high level of customer service through the provisioning process.
• Collaborate with sales, presales, wireless engineering and 3rd party contractors.
• Communicate project expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain professional project documentation.
• Follow documented project management processes for delivery.
• Provide a single point of contact for project inquiries, issues and escalations.
• Coach, mentoring and guidance to support Project Coordinators.
• Assist with continual improvement of processes within the Customer Delivery PMO Team and across Vocus.
• Assist in mentoring colleagues within the Customer Delivery PMO Team or wider Service Delivery.
• Productivity – maintain a quantity of work output in line with expectations set by Team Lead and Manager.
• Quality – maintain quality of work in line with expectations set by Team Lead and Manager.

This role is responsible for managing the various component processes required to ensure the successful delivery of medium to large scale projects to Vocus Wireless and private LTE customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the successful delivery of medium to large scale projects to Vocus customers
• Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to all Vocus customers through the provisioning process
• Work with stakeholders across the business including sales, presales, wireless engineering, and 3rd party contractors
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
• Create and maintain a high standard of professional project documentation – appropriate to the scale, complexity and risk of the project
• Follow documented project management processes for the delivery of all projects
• Provide a single point of contact for Project enquires, issues and escalations
• Where required, provide coaching, mentoring and guidance to support Project Co-ordinators
• Assist with the continual improvement of processes within the Customer Delivery PMO Team, Service Delivery & Support and across Vocus, where appropriate
• Assist in supporting/mentoring colleagues within the Customer Delivery PMO Team or wider Service Delivery, where appropriate
• Productivity – maintaining a ‘quantity’ of work output in line with expectations set by Team Lead and Manager
• Quality - maintaining a ‘quality’ of work in line with expectations set by Team Lead and Manager. This will be directly driven by project management guidelines and will be measured via scheduled 6 monthly and ad hoc (when required) Project Health Checks.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Telecommunications industry
• Experience working with sales, presales, engineers
• Professionally recognized qualification in Project Management is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with wireless and LTE networks deployment and project management
• The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships internally and externally
• Outstanding commitment to customer service and delivering an exceptional customer experience (for internal and external customers)
