Qualifications
  • Professional Experience & Project Management:
  • 5+ years of experience in data center operations, IT service delivery, or technical project management.
  • Proven experience leading and managing rack-level system deployment projects.
  • Demonstrated success in drafting Statements of Work (SOWs), calculating project timelines, and coordinating resource requirements for complex, large-scale customer projects.
  • Technical Skills & Field Operations:
  • Hands-on experience with high-speed cabling and structured cabling systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of server hardware, GPU systems, and data center networking.
  • Proficiency in hardware diagnostics (BIOS, UEFI Shell, PXE, DOS) and troubleshooting within Linux/Windows server environments.
  • Field Site Execution: Demonstrated expert-level capability in performing comprehensive on-site deployment tasks, including:
  • Rack movement observation and management: Ensuring safe and precise physical relocation of server racks within the data center floor.
  • Hardware remediation support: Proactive identification and resolution of hardware-level failures during deployment.
  • Unpacking systems and rack stacking: Executing physical installation, rack-mount operations, and server integration.
  • Power connection and configuration validation: Managing high-density power distribution connections and performing pre-deployment configuration validation to ensure system readiness.
  • Mobility:
  • Ability to travel frequently to different cities within the country of residence or to international locations within a 6-hour flight radius for deployment projects.
  • Communication & Professionalism:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain professional boundaries and formal expectations.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
