Job summary

Stowe Australia, a major electrical and communications contractor in Melbourne, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead large construction teams on Melbourne-based projects. You will manage design and drafting processes at a managerial level, coordinate procurement, and drive financial KPIs while ensuring HSEQ and client requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Large Commercial Electrical & Communication Project Management experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Organised, self-motivated and driven in fast-paced environments.
• Electrical Licence (A-grade) preferred or optional.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and drafting process management rather than hands-on drafting.
• Oversee procurement and major supplier/sub-contractor orders.
• Oversee variation pricing and financial KPIs.
• Lead onsite office and construction teams.
• Ensure works comply with HSEQ requirements and client standards.
• Collaborate with clients, site teams, suppliers and subcontractors.

Due to a large workbook and significant business growth, Stowe Australia one of Australia's largest Electrical & Communications Contractors, is seeking experienced Project Managers to join our Construction team.

This role is responsible for managing large construction teams and projects in the Melbourne area.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of design and drafting processes - note this is management of this process, and not completion of design and drafting directly
• Management of procurement, and major supplier and subcontractor orders
• Management of variation pricing and financial KPIs and outcomes
• Management of onsite office management team, and frontline construction teams
• Ensure all works comply with HSEQ systems and client requirements
• Work closely with clients, site teams, suppliers and subcontractors

About You

• Large Commercial Electrical and Communication Project Management experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Organised, self-motivated and driven in fast paced environments
• Unrestricted A grade Electrical Licence (optional)
