About the New Mandurah Hospital Project

The New Mandurah Hospital Project is a major investment in healthcare services for the Peel region. The project will deliver a modern, state-of-the-art public hospital designed to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community now and into the future. The project involves planning, designing, commissioning and transitioning services to a new hospital campus that will enhance patient care, improve access to healthcare services and provide a contemporary environment for patients, visitors and staff. Team members play a vital role in supporting operational readiness, service planning, workforce preparation, stakeholder engagement and the successful transition to the new hospital.

The project's service planning and operational readiness program is delivered across three key streams:
  • Clinical Services – Working with clinical teams to design, plan and prepare healthcare services, models of care and workforce requirements for the new hospital.
  • Non-Clinical Services – Supporting the planning and transition of essential support services that enable safe and efficient hospital operations, including patient support, administration, hospitality and other operational functions.
  • Facilities Management and Corporate Services – Preparing facilities, infrastructure, finance, procurement, governance and corporate support functions to ensure the new hospital is operationally ready from day one.
