Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead the successful execution of Network Control SCADA, EMS, GMS, and DMS projects across the APAC region.

You will ensure safe, high-quality, on-time, and profitable delivery in line with governance and customer expectations. You will own the project lifecycle, providing leadership, stakeholder management, and operational oversight to achieve business objectives while upholding safety, quality, compliance and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or tertiary degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of Hitachi Energy Project Management Process and Guidelines.
• Knowledge of Network Manager SCADA EMS.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience maintaining project schedules with MS Projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and HSE targets.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, including HSE, schedules, budgets.
• Act as primary customer interface to understand requirements and expectations.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and specialists.
• Manage stakeholders and governance through regular reporting and meetings.
• Monitor risks, issues, conflicts, and change requests to ensure outcomes.
• Oversee project financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and reporting.
• Drive handover to operations and knowledge transfer.
• Ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy policies and continuous improvement.

You'll also function as the primary project owner, providing leadership, stakeholder management, and operational oversight throughout the project lifecycle to achieve business objectives while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring objectives related to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and HSE are achieved.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, including HSE plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Act as the primary customer interface, ensuring customer requirements, priorities, and expectations are understood and met.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary project teams, subcontractors, and technical specialists, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Manage project stakeholders and maintain effective communication through regular reporting and governance activities.
• Monitor and control project risks, issues, conflicts, and change requests to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Oversee project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and reporting using project management systems and tools.
• Drive project delivery and successful handover to operations/support teams, ensuring effective close-out and knowledge transfer.
• Ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy policies, project management frameworks, processes, and safety requirements while promoting continuous improvement and best-practice sharing across teams.

Your Background

• A bachelor's or tertiary education in related field.
• Hitachi Energy Project Management Process and Guidelines.
• Network Manager SCADA EMS knowledge
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Projects).
• Proficient in maintaining schedules for projects using recognized project scheduling tools like MS Projects.
