BuildRight Construction AU seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead a major underground hard rock mining operation in Ontario, Canada. This residential leadership opportunity offers visa sponsorship, relocation assistance, accommodations, performance incentives, and long-term career growth within a globally recognised underground mining contractor.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of site operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of underground mining

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in underground hard rock mining operations.
• Experience leading senior mining site leadership or project management roles.
• Mining Qualification or relevant tertiary qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership to promote a strong safety culture across the operation.
• Lead underground mining activities including development and production.
• Deliver operational targets safely, efficiently and within budget.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost control and financial performance.
• Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee workforce planning, recruitment and succession planning.
• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
• Identify operational risks and implement practical mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with mining legislation, company policies and safety systems.
