Job summary

Silentium Defence, an Australian defence technology company based in Adelaide, seeks a Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary defence projects from planning to close-out. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk, ensuring milestones are met and outcomes exceed expectations.

The role requires at least 3 years of PM experience in engineering/defence, with proficiency in Microsoft Project, EVM, and a relevant engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager, ideally in defence, engineering or technology.
• Experience using Microsoft Project for planning and tracking.
• AIPM certification or similar PM accreditation (PRINCE2, PMBOK, AGILE).
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Engineering degree or technical background.
• Experience in manufacturing or low-volume production environments.
• Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 security clearance.

As a key member of our high-performing team, you’ll lead multi-disciplinary Defence projects that design, and test distributed passive radar networks for defenceand other end users.

You’ll be responsible for the full project lifecycle — from planning through to delivery and close-out — ensuring milestones are met, risks are managed, and outcomes exceed expectations.

In this role, you will:

• Flexible, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
