Job summary

Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) seeks a PMO Delivery professional to manage the full project lifecycle within the IT PMO Delivery team. You will initiate, plan, execute, monitor and close projects, aligning with PMO frameworks and governance standards.

You will develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and risk registers, ensuring accuracy and basing decisions on approved baselines, while collaborating with business and IT stakeholders and providing executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience managing full project lifecycle (initiation to closure) per PMO frameworks.
• Ability to develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
• Ensure governance gates, reporting obligations, and government compliance.
• Stakeholder management across business and IT with executive reporting.
• Drive governance, stage gates, reporting and assurance activities.
• Vendor and delivery partner management, including performance monitoring.
• Identify, assess, and escalate risks and issues with mitigation.
• Ensure benefits realisation and transition to BAU including handover.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Change Managers, Assurance functions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO delivery practices, tools, templates.

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment to approved baselines
• Ensure alignment with organisational strategy and government compliance requirements including adherence to governance gates and reporting obligations
• Manage stakeholders across business and IT, including executive reporting and proactive engagement to ensure alignment and issue resolution
• Drive governance, including stage gates, reporting, and assurance activities to support oversight and informed decision-making
• Manage vendors and delivery partners including performance monitoring, contract oversight, and value delivery
• Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues with appropriate escalation and mitigation strategies
• Ensure benefits realisation and transition to business-as-usual including handover, adoption support, and outcome tracking
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Change Managers, and Assurance functions to ensure integrated delivery outcomes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO delivery practices, tools, and templates
