Job summary

Singleton Council is seeking a Project Manager – Water and Sewer to lead the strategic planning, governance and delivery of a landmark depot project providing essential water and sewer services for the community.

You will oversee all lifecycle phases, manage budgets, schedules and stakeholders, ensure safety and quality, and report progress. This is a fixed-term role for up to three years.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline with experience in infrastructure or capital works.
• Experience delivering projects end-to-end across planning, design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; safety and quality focus.
• Proficiency with budgeting, scheduling, risk management and reporting.
• Must have White Card and a valid Class C driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, governance and delivery of the Water and Sewer Depot project.
• Oversee all lifecycle phases from initiation to handover within scope, time and budget.
• Provide leadership across procurement, design, construction and financial management.
• Engage stakeholders and manage risks and reporting.
