Job summary

Richard Crookes Constructions (RCC) is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support Project Managers in delivering major projects, ensuring design and construction work meets quality, schedule, and safety standards.

You will collaborate with senior engineers to resolve design issues, manage subcontractors, maintain detailed project schedules, and monitor on-site performance on projects in Melbourne.

Qualifications

• Relevant building and tertiary qualifications.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to lead and solve complex problems.
• Experience managing subcontractor performance and coordinating design processes.
• Knowledge of cost management, quality assurance, and environmental controls.

Responsibilities

• Support Project & Site Management: Assist with project coordination and subcontractor management, supporting on-time completion and quality adherence.
• Design Management: Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve design issues and provide technical input during the design and construction phases.
• Program Preparation & Administration: Help develop and maintain detailed project schedules, supporting effective program management and delivery.
• Site-Based Execution: Assist in cost management, quality assurance, and environmental controls on-site, ensuring compliance and reporting progress to senior engineers.
• Health & Safety Advocacy: Support health and safety initiatives, ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
