Job summary

Corangamite Shire Council in Victoria is seeking a Civil Engineer graduate to support the coordination and management of maintenance and construction works programs. The role is ideal for individuals who have recently completed a Bachelor of Civil Engineering or are currently working towards the qualification and seeking valuable industry experience.

This temporary full-time role offers up to 6 months of employment with a salary ranging from AU$77,971 to AU$86,652 per annum, pro rata.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or similar.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies to lead and manage construction and maintenance projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
• Hold a Victorian Driver’s Licence and be able to obtain a National Police Check.

About the position

In this role, you will support the coordination and management of Council’s maintenance and construction works programs. This role is ideal for individuals who have recently completed a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or a related discipline) or are currently working towards their qualification and seeking valuable industry experience.

About you

• Currently working towards or qualified with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or similar.
• Demonstrated theoretical knowledge and expertise regarding construction methodologies to lead and manage construction and maintenance projects.
• Proficient using Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office programs.
• Current Victorian Driver’s License and recent National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• Construction Induction Card or willingness to obtain.
