Job summary

Linkforce is seeking Project Engineers (Electrical) to join our Perth team in a hybrid role from our CBD office and FIFO on site. In this permanent full-time position, you will contribute to multidisciplinary project delivery and ensure electrical components meet client and safety requirements.

You will plan materials, prepare work packs, support schedules and reporting, and manage variations, NCRs, and quality documentation across mining and industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering Degree is required.
• Experience delivering multidiscipline construction projects in mining/industrial environments.
• Construction or Project Management qualification desirable.
• Solid knowledge of MS Office including Project & Excel.
• Primavera and/or Pronto knowledge advantageous.
• Current Australian Drivers Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Detailing and documenting all phases of projects.
• Plan materials and optimize resource usage.
• Prepare detailed work packs.
• Assist with project plans, schedules and reporting.
• Identify, investigate, monitor and report on vendor NCRs costs.
• Ensure variations to scope are approved and properly documented.
• Review site quality documentation and compile close-out documents.
• Ensure compliance with client and statutory quality and safety requirements.
• Monitor and manage Electrical Quality and Statutory Documentation.

From design through to completion and handover, we are able to supply, maintain and manage all aspects of projects works including, remedial works, capital works and expansion projects.

The Role

We are currently seeking Project Engineers (Electrical) to join our existing team in a hybrid role working from our Perth CBD Office as week as FIFO on site. In this permanent full time role, you will play a vital part in the delivery of multidisciplinary projects and responsible for:

• Detailing and documenting all phases of project
• Planning all materials and ensuring optimal utilisation of all resources
• Preparation of detailed work packs
• Assisting with project plans, schedules and reporting
• Identify, investigate, record, monitor and report on actions, resolutions, and costs of identified vendor NCRs
• Ensuring all variations to scope and or specifications are approved, documented and claims maximised without adversely affecting the client relationship
• Reviewing completed site quality documentation and compiling close out documentations
• Ensuring all projects are completed in accordance with client and statutory quality and safety requirements
• Monitoring and managing Electrical Quality and Statutory Documentation and Systems
• Conducting regular audits on electrical activities

What You’ll Need

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role, with the ability to demonstrate:

• Electrical Engineering Degree
• Experience in successfully delivering multidiscipline (CSMPEI or SMPEI) construction projects in mining and/or other industrial construction environments
• Construction and/or Project Management qualification is highly desirable
• Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software including Project & Excel
• Primavera and/or Pronto knowledge would be advantageous
• A current Australian Drivers Licence
