The Opportunity: As a Project Engineer specialising in critical communications and digital radio networks, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end delivery of complex, high-reliability systems. From design and configuration through to commissioning and customer training, you will provide the technical expertise that ensures seamless integration of RF, IP, and IT systems.

Responsibilities and Requirements

Who You Are

  • A hands-on, proactive engineer with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across multiple projects.
  • Experienced in radio communications engineering (LMR/PMR, P25, DMR, or TETRA) with exposure to RF and IP-based systems.
  • Degree-qualified in Engineering, Telecommunications, ICT, or equivalent, with full Australian working rights.
  • Willing to travel interstate and support occasional on-call or after-hours project requirements.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Providing technical expertise to shape and deliver critical communications projects, supporting bids, proposals, and customer engagements.
  • Designing and scoping large-scale radio networks (RF, digital trunked systems, and IP backhaul).
  • Overseeing systems integration, testing, and commissioning, including Factory and Site Acceptance Testing.
  • Conducting site surveys, coverage assessments, and performance evaluations.
  • Delivering customer training, technical support, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
