The Shire of East Pilbara invites applications for a Project Engineer to join our team, serving Newman, Marble Bar, Nullagine and surrounding communities. We offer a supportive workplace with a focus on community infrastructure.

You will manage civil and waste infrastructure projects, oversee consultants and contractors, and read complex engineering drawings to deliver on time and within budget. WA C Class license required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in managing civil/waste infrastructure projects.
• Contract management experience with consultants/contractors.
• Ability to read and explain complex engineering drawings.
• Current Western Australia C Class Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil and waste infrastructure projects within local government context.
• Oversee consultants and contractors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Read, interpret and explain complex engineering drawings.
• Coordinate stakeholders and maintain project documentation.
