Job summary
Mildura Rural City Council is seeking a Project Engineer in the Engineering Development & Delivery Branch to lead civil infrastructure projects and manage construction contracts. You will coordinate stakeholders, monitor schedules and budgets, and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Flexible working arrangements are available and relocation assistance is provided to support a move to the Mildura region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor level Civil Engineering degree or equivalent with eligibility for Engineers Australia
- Ability to interpret engineering standards, legislation and local laws
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, DRAINS or similar software and WSUD/IWM
- Strong report writing, communication, project management and contract administration skills
- Demonstrated commitment to quality systems and delivering projects on time and within budget
- Collaborative approach and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
- Deliver civil infrastructure projects from concept to delivery
- Manage construction contracts and procurement processes
- Coordinate stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives
- Monitor schedules, budgets and reporting to ensure safe, efficient project delivery
