The Company
A leading air and power generation provider who delivers innovative turnkey solutions across Australia and overseas is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer who is driven and passionate about delivering high level quality solutions.

The role
The Project Engineer will be working on the electrical engineering of compressed air systems and power generation solutions for the mining, resources, agricultural and manufacturing industries. You will be liaising with a range of key clients to understand their requirements, determine specifications and drive the electrical design and execution of projects. You will also be supporting sales and field service teams, providing technical advice, assisting with and managing the execution of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop electrical designs and modifications for customised products.
• Select electrical components and design circuits to meet required standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and mentor them on electrical aspects.
• Oversee project management, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Validate products to meet quality and Australian standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and align with ISO 9001 processes.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree or relevant.
• Experience in electrical and simple mechanical design customisation and modifications.
• Experienced in circuit design for new installations/system packages or OEM modifications.
• Able to deliver quality plans, ITPs, project schedules and accurate project documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and customer focus skills.
• Proven ability to deliver projects accurately and on time.
• Quality-focused with a drive for continuous improvement.
• Must have full working rights in Australia and be located in Perth, WA.
