Job summary

Our client, a well-established civil construction contractor in Queensland, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead major civil projects across the Moreton Bay region. This role offers long-term career opportunity and real ownership of project delivery on site.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and site teams to oversee engineering, commercial and construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering and technical aspects of civil construction projects
• Coordinate day-to-day construction activities with Supervisors, subcontractors and project teams
• Assist with construction planning, programming and project schedules
• Coordinate procurement and allocation of project resources
• Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance
• Manage project quality assurance and documentation
• Prepare and manage project documentation, reporting and technical records
• Assist with contract administration, including NODs, EOTs, notices and claims
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with relevant specifications, standards and safety requirements

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a highly regarded civil construction contractor delivering major projects across Moreton Bay.

With an established pipeline of projects, this is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer looking to take ownership of significant civil construction projects while enjoying the benefit of working locally and being home every night .

Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects, overseeing engineering, commercial and construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with contractual requirements.
