Aggreko Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our Victoria team on a full-time basis.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, civil and environmental engineers to develop and review project designs, ensure designs comply with industry standards and client specifications, and provide on-site engineering support during construction and commissioning.

Qualifications

We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis in Victoria. In this role you will be responsible for the following:

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, civil and environmental engineers to develop and review project designs.

Ensure project designs comply with industry standards, client specifications and regulatory requirements.

Act as a technical focal point for internal teams, customers and contractors, providing on-site engineering support during construction and commissioning phases.

Conduct regular site inspections, surveys and quality audits to verify installation quality and ensure adherence to project specifications and company standards

Support the Construction and Project Manager with projects budgets, expenditures and the efficient allocation of personnel, equipment and materials.

Ensure all projects strictly comply with Aggreko Health and Safety requirements, Australian regulations and environmental standards

Identify potential construction risks and develop mitigation strategies to proactively address challenges related to remote locations and complex logistics.

Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular process reports to senior management and clients regarding timelines, budgets and engineering deliverables.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

A Bachelors degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in project related disciplines within the renewable energy and construction industries.

Demonstrated experience working on the delivery of utility-scale Renewable Energy projects larger than 50MW.

Knowledge and understanding of fundamental project management systems in the construction industry and the constraints affecting the renewable energy industry in Australia and New Zealand.

Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills to establish effective working relationships at various organisational levels.

The capability to operate autonomously and demonstrate initiative while thriving in a team environment.

A positive, can-do attitude with a high level of personal resilience and persistence to meet project targets and deadlines.

If successful, you will be paid a base salary of around $90,000 per annum.
