Job summary

WSP’s Mining team in Adelaide is growing, and we’re looking for a Project Engineer who is ready to step out of pure design and into a broader project and package management role.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a technical engineering background who wants to build their career on the delivery side, owning scopes, coordinating packages, and working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Background as a design engineer (mechanical, civil, structural or similar).
• Experience working on mining or heavy industry projects.
• Strong interest in moving into project engineering / package management.
• Able to coordinate people and deliver outcomes, not just produce designs.
• Solid communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
• Comfortable working across multiple scopes and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of small to medium mining and infrastructure projects
• Manage discrete work packages from early scope through to delivery
• Coordinate inputs from multidisciplinary design teams
• Work closely with Project Managers to track cost, schedule and progress
• Engage with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders
• Contribute to technical reviews and ensure quality outcomes
