Job summary

NES Fircroft in Australia seeks a Project Director–Energy to lead a portfolio of large energy infrastructure projects. You will oversee project development and delivery, manage project teams, budgets and schedules, and engage with executives and stakeholders.

This senior leadership role requires strategic insight and the ability to drive governance, business cases and investment approvals through to handover, while ensuring safety and commercial performance across the portfolio.

Thisisaseniorleadershipposition,responsibleforoverseeingateamofProjectManagerswhileensuringprojectsaredeliveredsafely,commerciallyandinlinewithstakeholderexpectations.

TheRole

Thisrolesitsacrossbothprojectdevelopmentandprojectdelivery.

You’llbeinvolvedfromtheearlystagesofprojectdefinition,businesscasesandinvestmentapprovalsthroughtoconstruction,commissioningandassethandover.Alongthewayyou’llbemanagingprojectteams,contractors,budgets,schedules,governancerequirementsandexecutivestakeholders.

It'sarolethatneedssomeonecomfortableoperatingatboththestrategicanddeliverylevel.Onedayyoumightbepresentingtoexecutivesorsupportinginvestmentdecisions,thenextyou'rehelpingremoveroadblocksonacriticalinfrastructureproject.
