Our Projects and Development Services (PDS) team provide corporate and institutional clients with the management of design, construction, and relocation services to minimise risk and eliminate unnecessary cost.

Projects range from greenfield developments to major fit outs and refurbishments, from single one-off projects to state, national multi-site and regional roll-out projects requiring consistent nationwide delivery. We are one of the largest project management firms in Australia with a team of over 320 professional staff, operating in sectors including commercial, industrial, education, data centres, hotels, retail, and defence.

About the role

We are looking for a Project Director with a proven track record of managing clients and projects in the investor sector to lead the NSW Investor Project Team and support the growth strategy in this sector for 2025 and onward. When delivering complex investor related projects, you will accept total responsibility for the effective management of all phases of a project (or projects) from initial establishment to handover and project closure. The project role requires coordinating thought and leadership skills to encourage maximum contributions of all participants and to maximise outcomes for all stakeholders.

What you will do (Responsibilities)

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the NSW Investor Project Team and support growth strategy for the investor sector.
  • Manage all phases of complex investor related projects from initiation to handover and closure.
  • Coordinate thought leadership and maximise contributions from all participants to optimise stakeholder outcomes.
  • Provide project leadership to ensure delivery aligned with client expectations and budget.
About you (Qualifications & Experience)
  • Ability to confidently manage project delivery from inception to closure with the capacity to assist in the commercial assessment of new projects and in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
  • Proven negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, consultants, and authorities; emotional maturity to manage diverse personalities.
  • Understanding of the legal environment for planning, commercial aspects and delivery constraints; familiarity with AS 4801, AS 14001 and Environmental Health and Safety legislation.
