Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Project Director for the Liverpool/Manchester region. The role is permanent and requires extensive residential high-rise delivery experience, plus involvement in bid and pre-construction activities.

You will oversee multiple live projects, guiding design and technical decisions while maintaining schedules and budgets. You will report to the Construction Director, liaising with senior management and site teams, travelling across sites to ensure project success

Qualifications

• Residential delivery experience in high-rise buildings.
• Experience with bid and pre-construction work.
• Proven delivery of projects over £50m.
• Knowledge of BSR and Gateway process.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across multiple live projects, ensuring on-time and within budget.
• Provide expert input to management during project delivery.
• Coach and supervise a team including 3–4 project managers with a combined turnover of £80m.
• Prioritise workloads and coordinate design and technical aspects.

My client is a regional main contractor that due to the continued growth and success of the business, are in the market for an experienced Project Director to join the senior management team. You will have residential delivery experience, within high rise building.

Having delivered projects from pre- construction through to construction completion and handover stages. They require this person be involved in bid and preconstructions work for these projects.

As a Project Director you will have excellent technical and design experience on large scale construction projects ideally over £50million. Offering advice and support to the management teams during project delivery. You will a good knowledge and understanding of BSR and the Gateway process.

The position would require travelling across live projects, assisting with technical and design aspects of the projects. Ensuring project delivery is following its set program and budgets. You will have between 3-4 project managers reporting into yourself with a combined turn over value of £80m.
