The Project Director and Commissioning Lead will lead and oversee the operational commissioning activities for Major Capital projects within West Moreton Health (WMH)This role is the conduit bringing together all components of the project and will act as the liaison between project partners, stakeholders, and operational service delivery.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

• Experience in effectively leading and managing large complex projects within the healthcare environment.
• Experience in developing and implementing commissioning activities as part of an infrastructure delivery project.
• Superior communication and engagement skills, conveying clear and compelling messages with the ability to develop strong and trusted professional relationships with key stakeholders particularly in a health service environment.
• Proven analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills including the ability to negotiate, respond promptly and authoritatively within short timeframes, influence stakeholders and manage staff/consultants to effectively achieve project outcomes.
• Ability to apply knowledge and comply with relevant Queensland Health and wider Government policies and delegations, including the ability to operate in a complex, sensitive and time critical environment and a record of achievement in meeting project milestones.
