About the Role

Based in BYD's Melbourne office in Mulgrave, this role will support our Deputy General Manager with the charging project development. The main duties include (but are not limited to):

• Develop and conduct the project management with key partners for EV charging.
• Assist with the deployment program strategy, location selection and feasibility analyses.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to improve customer experience, cost efficiency and optimise project timelines.
• Work with internal legal counsel to draft, negotiate and close site host agreements.

Key Requirements

• 2+ years of business development experience, focusing on creating and nurturing strong relationships (ideally from the EV charging or renewable energy space, but could also be from Retail, Real estate or equivalent B2B experience).
• A self‑motivator who can work autonomously with strong capability of project execution and achieving great results.
• Business savvy, able to influence stakeholders across a wide range of roles and backgrounds.
• Ability to think from the customer’s perspective.
• A willingness to travel extensively within the ANZ region for work.
