Job summary

The Department of Education in Melbourne is seeking a Delivery Manager to drive delivery management processes, governance and prioritisation with senior business stakeholders. You will identify dependencies, plan and execute releases across environments, and ensure smooth production delivery.

You will also enhance delivery processes, generate reporting for stakeholders across the portfolio, and support the Director, Early Childhood Education Delivery Services.

The role will involve facilitating delivery management processes, including governance and prioritisation with senior business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• They will be responsible for identifying and managing dependencies across application components, planning and executing the delivery of releases through all environments and managing the delivery into production.
• Additionally, the Delivery Manager will be responsible for enhancing delivery processes and procedures and generating necessary reporting and data for stakeholders across the portfolio.

What you need

• They will be expected to use their experience in blending traditional project principles and practises with a tailored Agile development approach to fit large, complex, business-critical projects with the appropriate level of planning and provide the right balance of agility and predictability.
