Job summary

Peak Group on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Project Coordinator – Residential to centralize planning and delivery within the Residential Division. This role focuses on coordinating projects from planning through to completion, ensuring builders, clients and internal staff receive exceptional service.

Working with the Operations Manager, Supervisors and trades, you will manage schedules, material orders and QA processes to keep projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in residential construction, project coordination or operations.
  • Strong understanding of residential building processes.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with SimPRO or similar job management software is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for residential builders and clients.
  • Coordinate Plumbing Tradesman & Apprentice schedules and workforce planning.
  • Monitor project progress and assist with forecasting and reporting.
  • Undertake material take-offs and coordinate material orders.
  • Ensure jobs are fully prepared before site teams commence work.
  • Coordinate supplier deliveries and procurement.
  • Track and manage ITPs, QA documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Manage project administration from commencement through to completion.
  • Coordinate practical completion documentation and project handovers.
  • Prepare and submit as-built documentation.
  • Manage defects, warranty items and project close-out requirements.
  • Assist with process improvement and operational efficiencies.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator – Residential to become the central point of coordination for our Plumbing Residential Division.

Previous experience within the residential building or construction industry is highly desirable. We're looking for someone who understands residential construction processes, is confident communicating with builders, site supervisors and trades, and can confidently coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Working closely with our Operations Manager, Supervisors, Plumbers and Builders, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, professionally and on schedule.

Candidate Profile

Key Qualifications
  • Previous experience in residential construction, project coordination, scheduling or operations (Plumbing is a bonus, but not essential).

About the Role
