Job summary

ASC Pty Ltd is Australia’s submarine company, delivering maintenance, upgrade and asset management projects for national security applications. The Project Coordinator will support planning, delivery and reporting across multiple lifecycles, working with Engineering, Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Commercial, Finance and People & Culture to drive outcomes and maintain readiness.

The role requires a tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders.
• Experience supporting projects within a complex or highly regulated environment.
• Australian Defence security clearance, or eligibility to obtain one, is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution and delivery of project activities across multiple project lifecycles.
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs to ensure project milestones, schedules and deliverables are achieved.
• Assist with project scheduling, cost tracking, reporting and performance monitoring.
• Identify project risks, issues and dependencies, and support mitigation activities.
• Prepare and coordinate project reports, governance reviews and stakeholder updates.
• Maintain project documentation, action registers and change records.
• Monitor scope readiness, including material availability, engineering inputs and planning requirements.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to a high-performing project environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project processes, tools and delivery outcomes.
