The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing, coordinating and undertaking activities related to the delivery of legal services to the Registry Connect Program.

  • Location: Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane
  • Salary starting from $97,401 (depending on experience) + 15.4 % superannuation
  • Temporary (3 year) role

The team

The Registry Interactions & Services (RIS) team, part of ASIC's Legal Services group, plays a vital role in supporting the Registry Connect Program by enhancing and stabilising ASIC's registry services. RIS delivers a range of service functions across registry operations and projects, including legal advice, policy design and strategic input to ASIC initiatives, with a strong focus on enabling effective and compliant registry transformation.

The role
As a Project Coordinator, You Will
  • Deliver legal services across ASIC projects, including the RegistryConnect Program.
  • Provide project management, administrative and logistical support.
  • Coordinate stakeholder meetings and prepare related documentation.
  • Draft and manage correspondence, briefings, reports and presentations.
  • Maintain systems for accurate reporting, scheduling and resource planning.
  • Lead process improvements and monitor project workflows.
  • Engage stakeholders to track progress and ensure milestone delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement in work practices and legal operations.
  • Escalate risks and issues within governance frameworks.
  • Identify and implement tech and data enhancements to legal functions.
About You

You will also demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in project management highly desirable.
  • Experience in legal business operations highly desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project coordination, planning and reporting.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and PowerBI.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability.
  • Experience with SharePoint content management.
  • Self-starter with accountability and autonomy.
  • Understanding of ASIC's role in government and regulation.
