Job summary

DCOH is seeking a Darwin-based construction project coordinator to support delivery across design, procurement, programme and site activities. You will help ensure safety, accuracy, and timely completion within budget on diverse projects.

Ideal candidates have a tertiary qualification in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and at least 2 years in a site/coordination role, with strong planning and communication skills and knowledge of Australian standards.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years' experience in project coordination, site coordination or a related construction role.
• Sound understanding of Australian Standards, NCC/BCA requirements and relevant authority requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design, procurement, programme, documentation and site activities to keep works safe, accurate, on time and within budget.
• Read and interpret design drawings, specifications and technical reports.
• Support delivery through effective planning and communication with on-site and design teams.

Who You Are

This Darwin-based role is responsible for supporting the delivery of construction projects through effective coordination of design, procurement, programme, documentation and site activities, helping to ensure works are delivered safely, accurately, on time and within budget.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• At least 2 years' experience in project coordination, site coordination or a related construction role
• Working knowledge of construction methodology, sequencing and site delivery
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings, specifications and technical reports
• Sound understanding of Australian Standards, NCC/BCA requirements and relevant authority requirements
• Strong planning, coordination and communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
