Job summary

Hacer Group in Melbourne, Victoria, is seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator to join a large project team on a mixed-use development just outside the Melbourne CBD. You will lead the delivery of contract and target programs and mentor graduates, driving safe, on-time outcomes.

Responsibilities include building strong client relationships, owning budgets, coordinating with the design team, and engaging trusted subcontractors to meet the construction program requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent.
• Experience on large-scale construction projects in a similar role.
• Experience building supplier/contractor relationships.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• WH&S certificate/s highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, implement & manage both Contract & Target Programs.
• Build strong relationships with client and client representatives.
• Take ownership of the budgets provided.
• Collaborate with Hacer Design Team to align design with the construction program.
• Engage subcontractors recommended by Hacer.

Job Description

In this role you will work as part of a large project team on an exciting mixed use development just outside the Melbourne CBD. You will take responsibility for the delivery of the various trade package and assist in the mentoring & development of our Graduates.

• Prepare, implement & manage both Contract & Target Programs
• Build strong relationships with client & client representatives.
• Take ownership of the budgets given
• Work effectively with Hacer Design Team to ensure the design and verification process meets the construction program requirements
• Engaging with subcontractors who have been recommended by Hacer

Desired Skills and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or similar
• Experience working on large scale construction projects in a similar position
• Building and maintaining external supplier/contractor relationships
• Effective communication style
• Working in a team environment
• Holding a Cert III or IV in Work Health & Safety will be highly regarded
