Job summary

AusNet Services is seeking an experienced Project Controller to join our Development & Future Networks team within Infrastructure Operations & Delivery. You will support the financial management, procurement, reporting and governance for a portfolio of infrastructure projects, working with Project Managers and Directors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Reporting to the Project Services Lead, you will help manage costs, schedules, risk and change control, contribute to monthly reporting,

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in project controls on large infrastructure projects.
• Strong forecasting and cost-to-complete abilities.
• Understanding of contract structures and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate forecasting, budget control and cost reporting across infrastructure projects.
• Monitor actuals, commitments, accruals and forecast movements; provide insights.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, EVM and governance reporting for stakeholders.
• Support commercial management by monitoring contractor claims and variations.
• Manage procurement and financial administration in SAP and related systems.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with finance and procurement requirements.
• Contribute to governance, risk management and change control processes.
• Build relationships with PMs, Finance, Procurement and delivery partners.
