Job summary

GPA Engineering in Brisbane is seeking a Project Controller for a 12-month maternity leave cover, with options for full-time or part-time work. You will support project managers across multi-discipline engineering design, develop and maintain schedules in MS Project, monitor costs and resources, and assist with documentation and tender preparation.

A suitable engineering qualification and strong communication skills are required; Australian police clearance will be needed.

About the Role

Are you a Project Controller with a background in multi-discipline engineering design or consultancy? Do you hold an engineering (or related) qualification and excel in communication and people skills? Are you self-motivated, confident in your abilities, and driven to deliver results?

Reporting to the Qld Project Delivery Team Leader and working closely with Project Managers, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects. ** This is a 12-month maternity leave cover position, offered on a full time or part-time basis, commencing in December 2026.

Key Duties:

You will provide project controls and scheduling services to GPA’s project managers and teams across a variety of resource industry projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining simple and complex project schedules in MS Project.
