Job summary

Eaton in Melbourne is seeking a Project Control Engineer to join our PMO team and support the delivery of mission-critical power monitoring and control projects. This role offers exposure across the full project lifecycle, enabling you to build technical expertise and contribute to infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in project engineering within the electrical industry.
• Experience delivering software, controls, SCADA, or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Experience in installation, commissioning, fault finding, and maintenance of power monitoring or control systems.
• Knowledge of network protocols, power systems, and control technologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication, planning, and organisational capability.
• A tertiary qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• A current NV1 Security Clearance, or the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain one in accordance with Australian Government security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate software engineering and project delivery activities.
• Support electrical and software system design, documentation, and technical submissions.
• Develop testing, commissioning, and quality assurance plans.
• Lead or support factory testing and site commissioning activities.
• Apply knowledge of power monitoring, control systems, networking, and SCADA environments.
• Work closely with customers, engineers, service teams, and project managers.
• Support project planning, reporting, and execution.
