Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Project Control Engineer to join our PMO team in Sydney, Australia, delivering mission-critical power monitoring and control projects across the full lifecycle.

You’ll coordinate software engineering and project delivery, support design and submissions, and develop testing and commissioning plans while working with customers, engineers, and service teams.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in project engineering within the electrical industry.
  • Experience delivering software, controls, SCADA, or electrical infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in installation, commissioning, fault finding, and maintenance of power monitoring or control systems.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, power systems, and control technologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational capability.
  • A tertiary qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate software engineering and project delivery activities.
  • Support electrical and software system design, documentation, and technical submissions.
  • Develop testing, commissioning, and quality assurance plans.
  • Lead or support factory testing and site commissioning activities.
  • Apply knowledge of power monitoring, control systems, networking, and SCADA environments.
  • Work closely with customers, engineers, service teams, and project managers.
  • Support project planning, reporting, and execution.

What You’ll Do

As part of a high-performing project delivery team, you'll help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will:

  • Coordinate software engineering and project delivery activities
