Job summary

Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Project and Data Officer for the VMO Oversight Program. You will support the Executive Medical Services team with project coordination, data analysis and stakeholder engagement to enhance governance and continuous improvement across VMO workforce and claims management.

The role requires relevant qualifications and strong analytical skills, with a focus on independent and collaborative work in a health management context.

Remuneration: $2,277.19 - $2,686.94 per week + Annual Leave Loading + Superannuation

About The Role

The Project and Data Officer, Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) Oversight Program, will work as part of the SLHD Executive Medical Services team to provide project, analytical and administrative support to the delivery and implementation of the SLHD VMO Oversight Program and its initiatives. The Project and Data Officer will support the Manager, VMO Relations Audit in the coordination and management of projects, the collection and analysis of data, and engaging with relevant stakeholders in the delivery of governance, assurance and continuous improvement activities relating to VMO workforce and VMO claims management processes in SLHD.

Ideal Candidate

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in health management, business, finance or related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Analytical skills and high level computer literacy, including experience in data management, analysis, trending and interpretation of complex operational, workforce and financial information to support evidence based decision making.
• Organisational and project coordination skills, including the ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and deliver high quality, customer focused outcomes.
• Knowledge of, or experience in medical workforce and governance, with sound understanding of the principles of relevant industrial instruments, preferably those relating to Visiting Medical Officers.
