Job summary

Zenith Energy Australia is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the finance team in Perth. The role focuses on project invoicing, GL maintenance, and month-end activities within a corporate/commercial accounting setting.

The successful candidate will have 3 years in accounting, a relevant qualification or certificate, and familiarity with GST/FBT in Australia. Office-based role with standard full-time hours.

Qualifications

• 3 years hands-on experience in accounts, bookkeeping or assistant accountant role.
• Related discipline or Certificate IV in Accounting/Bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Process project invoicing and perform detailed verification.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, incl. invoices and credits.
• Assist with payroll processing and supplier/bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end close, balances and management reports.
• Assist with statutory returns and audits.
