Job summary

Bechtel invites a Project Risk Management professional to provide expert execution capabilities in risk management activities on Western Australia projects. You will oversee and mentor risk specialists, collate risk intelligence, and promote best practices across the project teams.

Qualifications

  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supports implementation of the project risk management program across the project.
  • Develops, deploys, and manages PRM data collection, dashboards, analysis tools and reports.
  • Conducts quantitative risk analysis (schedule and cost).
  • Supports enterprise analysis of project risks.
  • Maintains risk activities to align with the risk management plan.
  • Leads risk workshops on projects.

Bechtel is providing a wide variety project and contract management services, crossing all disciplines, to customers in Western Australia to support exciting capital works programmes, including in aviation, defence and energy infrastructure. We are looking for people to join us in a long-term relationship to deliver these services in and around Perth where we are working within integrated teams with our customers and to help build Bechtel’s capabilities for even greater opportunities in the future.

Job Summary

As a Project Risk Management professional at Bechtel, you will provide expert execution capabilities of project risk management activities. You will provide oversight, training and mentoring of project risk specialists and risk analysts toward project and corporate objectives. You will collate risk intelligence and associated best practices to distribute throughout the project.

Major Responsibilities
  • Supports implementation of the project risk management program across the project.
  • Responsible for the development, deployment, and management of PRM data collection, dashboards, analysis tools and reports.
  • Responsible for quantitative risk analysis (schedule and cost) for the assigned program or project.
  • Supports the enterprise analysis of project risks.
  • Support and maintain risk activities to ensure alignment with the risk management plan.
  • Supports, coordinates and runs risk workshops on projects.
Education And Experience Requirements
  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge And Skills
  • Skill in working and communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, with other project functional groups.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.
  • Demonstrated experience in qualitative and quantitative risk management is necessary.
  • Experience in the infrastructure / heavy civil / aviation / renewables / construction industries advantageous
  • May assist less-experienced team members
