Job summary

The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing VIC is recruiting a Principal Operational Enhancements Adviser in Melbourne to provide expert advice on Community Services Operations and Practice Leadership initiatives aligned with the division's priorities.

The role requires knowledge of Victoria's child protection program, experience in service implementation, and strong stakeholder engagement, with the ability to deliver timely responses and contribute to multiple priorities within the unit.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives (research, business cases, plans, timelines and budgets)
• Prepare and present quality reports and briefings in line with project management processes
• Evaluate tender bids and participate in liaison and negotiation of tender processes
• Provide leadership and prepare ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters
