Job summary

Urban Utilities is seeking a Program Manager for the Safety Improvement Program to oversee the Health Safety Wellbeing Improvement initiatives within the Operations and Maintenance team. The role requires strong leadership in managing projects that ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Candidates should have at least five years in a leadership role, experience in safety transformations, and qualifications in engineering or safety management. This position is part of a fixed-term contract until December 2027, based in Queensland.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years’ experience in a leadership role.
• Experience delivering safety transformation projects within a large complex organisation.
• Ability to lead commercial agreements with Delivery Partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Health Safety Wellbeing Improvement Program.
• Manage, implement and execute projects within O&M included in the Safety Improvement Program.
• Guide and coordinate project and change managers delivering initiatives.
