Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile federal government transformation program, focused on improving operational integrity, business outcomes and service delivery. You will oversee end-to-end delivery of multiple cross-functional projects in an Agile environment, coordinate with executive stakeholders and ensure milestones, governance and benefits realisation are achieved.

Australian Citizenship is required and NV1 clearance.

• Lead the delivery of multiple interconnected projects within a large transformation program.
• Develop and maintain program roadmaps, delivery schedules, priorities and project backlogs.
• Drive alignment between business, technology and delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Manage program dependencies, risks, issues, resources and schedules.
• Facilitate Agile planning activities, program increments and iterative delivery cycles.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Monitor program performance and establish reporting frameworks to provide transparency to senior stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and resolve delivery challenges to keep critical milestones on track.
• Build strong relationships across executive stakeholders, business teams and technical delivery partners.
• Ensure the program delivers measurable business benefits and strategic outcomes.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Program Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile transformation program focused on improving operational integrity, business outcomes and service delivery across a large federal government environment.

Working within a complex stakeholder landscape, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of multiple cross-functional projects, ensuring strategic objectives, program benefits and key government milestones are achieved.

This role is suited to a senior Program Manager who thrives in Agile environments and can successfully navigate complex technology, business and stakeholder challenges.

About You

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

• Minimum 5 years' experience leading large, cross-functional programs or projects.


• Extensive experience delivering complex initiatives using Agile methodologies.


• Strong program governance, planning and delivery management expertise.


• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.


• Experience working across business, technology, operations and external stakeholder groups.


• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in complex government or enterprise environments.


• Experience with program reporting, risk management, dependency management and benefits realisation.

Highly Regarded

• Qualifications in Program Management, Project Management or Agile delivery frameworks.


• Experience working within identity, integrity, compliance, payments, claims processing or related environments.


• Federal Government experience.
