Job summary

Delta Electronics Southeast Asia & Oceania in Sydney seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead Data Centre, BESS, EV charging, and renewable energy projects across Australia. You will oversee contracts, ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while managing a delivery team and project finances.

The role requires 10+ years of leadership in infrastructure programs, pricing/contract administration, and strong knowledge of electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical engineering or construction management.
• PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP or equivalent PM certification and a current white card (mandatory).
• Australian Driver's Licence (mandatory).
• Based in Sydney with ability to travel interstate as required.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Data Centre, Battery Energy Storage (BESS), EV Charging, Critical Power and Renewable Energy projects across Australia.
• Oversee program delivery, financial performance, safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Manage a high-performing project delivery team and drive operational excellence.
• Support growth of Delta's service capabilities in Australia and across the APAC region.

About This Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Program Manager to lead the delivery of Data Centre, Battery Energy Storage (BESS), EV Charging, Critical Power and Renewable Energy projects across Australia.

As a critical team member within Delta Australia's Services Organisation, you will be responsible for the successful execution of customer contracts, overseeing program delivery, financial performance, safety, quality and customer satisfaction. Leading a high-performing project delivery team, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting the continued growth of Delta's service capabilities.

Job Experience

• 10+ years' experience leading high-performing teams and managing people.
• 5+ years' experience delivering construction, critical infrastructure, data centre, power quality or energy projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale programs and customer contracts within Australia.
• Strong background in program planning, financial management and contract administration.
• Experience delivering electrical infrastructure, critical power, UPS, switchgear, BESS, EV Charging or related projects.
• Proven ability to work with builders, EPC contractors, consultants, service providers and end customers.

Technical / Professional Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction, data centre and critical power infrastructure.
• Understanding of electrical systems including UPS, switchgear, transformers, power distribution and energy storage systems.
• Experience with testing, commissioning and operational handover processes.
• Knowledge of Australian electrical and construction standards.
• Strong contract management capability including variations, EOTs, claims and commercial administration.
• Proficiency with project management and reporting tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6 and document control systems.
