Job summary

MIGSO-PCUBED is seeking an experienced PMO Analyst to support the Project Management Office in delivering governance, reporting, and analytics for diverse client engagements from our Melbourne hub.

You will work with project managers, stakeholders, and senior leadership to ensure projects are executed on time and within budget, while maintaining robust governance and financial tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years in a PMO, project coordination, or analytical role is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), project management tools (Jira, MS Project), and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of PMO frameworks, methodologies, and standards.
  • Prepare and present project performance reports, dashboards, and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication between project teams, senior management, and external partners.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the identification, tracking, and resolution of project risks and issues.
  • Maintain and optimise PMO tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Power BI) to streamline project tracking and reporting.

We are looking for a capable and passionate PMO Consultant to join our Melbourne Hub to support a diverse range of projects and industry leading clients.

As an MIGSO-PCUBED Consultant, you will play a pivotal functional and advisory role in the successful execution of our clients projects. Working closely within a team of MP Consultants, you will utilize your expertise in project delivery to ensure efficient execution of projects. You analytical skills will be instrumental in assessing and managing risks and issues, contributing to robust project governance, financial control and scope management.

As an MP Consultant, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Work across diverse sectors to manage diverse projects and support programs of work.
  • Deliver within complex client engagements and aid MP team leadership with client relationship management
  • Support the engagement lead to build our footprint within a client or multiple clients, while taking advantage of a diverse range of professional development opportunities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of key client initiatives.
The Role

As a PMO Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Project Management Office in delivering high-quality project governance, reporting, and analysis. You will work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and senior leadership to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Governance: Assist in the development and maintenance of PMO frameworks, methodologies, and standards to ensure consistent project delivery.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present project performance reports, dashboards, and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between project teams, senior management, and external partners.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Support the identification, tracking, and resolution of project risks and issues.

About You
