This role drives strategic planning, capability development and evidence-based solutions to enhance performance and talent management.
The successful candidate will lead complex programmes, work with cross-functional teams, and align workforce initiatives with Council objectives.

The Program Leader Workforce Strategy and Projects positionleads the development, implementation and continuous improvement ofToowoomba Regional Council’s workforce strategy and organisationaleffectiveness initiatives. The role provides strategic leadershipin workforce planning and capability development to ensure Councilhas the capacity and skills required to achieve current and futurebusiness objectives. Through workforce analytics, strategicplanning and capability frameworks, the position deliversevidence-based workforce solutions that support organisationalperformance, talent management, leadership development andworkforce effectiveness.
The preferred candidate willbe required to undertake a Criminal History Check and apre-employment medical assessment to assess their ability toperform the genuine occupational requirements of theposition.
