Job summary

Careers at Council is seeking a Program Leader, Communications & Marketing to assist the Manager in delivering a comprehensive communications and marketing service for the community and Council.

The role requires planning, coordinating and delivering engaging internal and external communications, marketing, branding, graphic design, and events across the organisation and community.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications and/or significant demonstrated experience in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing communications and marketing functions, including strategic planning, service delivery and continuous improvement within a complex organisation.
• Proven leadership and people management skills, including the ability to supervise, develop and motivate a professional team to achieve organisational objectives.
• Experience developing and delivering integrated communications and marketing strategies, campaigns and initiatives across a range of channels to support organisational outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the Communications & Marketing service for the community and Council.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver high standard of engaging, relevant and effective internal and external communications, marketing, branding and graphic design, and corporate and civic events.

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $118,950 gross per annum

+ 12% superannuation
