Job summary

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or related discipline, with OOHC/child protection experience.
• Willingness to travel to Hunter, Central Coast, Mid North Coast and Northern NSW regions for meetings.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and professional development to staff responsible for mentoring caseworkers.
• Lead cross-functional teams with engagement and professional development focus.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with DCJ district staff and external partners.
• Effectively manage resources and budgets, work planning and professional development to maximise goals.
• Provide operational direction and leadership to establish an outcome-oriented culture of teamwork, achievement and accountability.
• Collaborate with professional practice leaders and clinical experts to build high-quality practice standards.
• Deliver localised professional practices informed by evidence-based programs to improve services.

Education
