Job summary

The Department of Education's School Of Special Educational Needs: Behaviour and Engagement (SSEN:BE) is seeking to establish a pool of Program Coordinators for possible vacancies in 2027, across multiple full-time and part-time terms. Roles involve leading educational initiatives, working with the Principal and executive team to implement change and promote vision across the site.

Successful applicants will coordinate policy, procedures, and administrative systems, support workforce

Qualifications

• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with work rights.
• Hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
• Obtain a Working With Children Check before you start.
• Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and provide a Screening Clearance Number before you start.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational leadership by developing and promoting the school vision and service principles.
• Implement effective change strategies and lead across the school community to improve student support services.
• Facilitate workforce effectiveness and establish and maintain administrative and operational systems.
• Engage stakeholders and coordinate specialist service provision across Engagement Centres within the Statewide Services pillar.
