Job summary

The Department of Education and Training in Darwin is seeking an Administrative Officer 4 to support the Remote Aboriginal Teacher Education program, strengthening and sustaining the Aboriginal educator workforce. You will contribute to professional learning and pathway development to teaching and specialist education roles within the School Leadership, Culture and Care team.

Administrative Officer 4 - Remuneration Package $94,248 - $107,434 (including salary $79,664 - $90,824)

Location: Darwin

Primary Objective:

This position contributes to strengthening and sustaining the Aboriginal educator workforce through the Remote Aboriginal Teacher Education program supporting Aboriginal educators to access professional learning and career pathways into teaching and specialist education roles. As part of the School Leadership, Culture and Care team, this position plays an important role in building workforce capability and cultural responsiveness across Northern Territory schools.
